Second Life Still Intriguing

I've been messing with the Entropia Universe a little bit, but I'm still developing the land I got in Second Life.
In Second Life you can earn money by creating items, giving classes on how to play, giving tours, or just about anything you can think of.
You also have the ability in Second Life to fly. What?!?!?!? Yep, you can fly. Now today I'm thinking, doesn't that take the fun out of selling player-created vehicles? Wouldn't it be a bit more fun if you had to take a bus to get around? This would open up a lot of possibilities for players to earn money as a cab driver, or bus driver. Then you would see car lots spring up, with another way to make money, because those with vehicles would get around faster.
As is it right now with players able to fly around, I just don't see the point of vehicles in Second Life other than a decoration for your yard.
